Workshop and study visit to The Netherlands – Integrated Planning and Municipal Cooperation

Within the DISC Project (Dutch Initiative for Sustainable Cities) subsidized by the Dutch government, IHS Romania, in partnership with IHS/Erasmus in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) and the National Agency for Civil Servants (Romania), organized between 2nd – 6th October the workshop and the study visit on the topic of “Integrated planning and municipal cooperation”.

Thus, 21 participants from local public administrations and regional development agencies, from both Romania and Moldavia, had the opportunity to achieve an exchange of knowledge and experiences in the field of integrated planning and economic development and of metropolitan cooperation. The participants had the opportunity to visit the metropolitan agencies in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, some area projects of integrated urban development, and regional agencies managing EU funding. At the end of the program, the participants were given certificates issued by Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies / Erasmus University, National Agency for Civil Servants (Romania) and IHS Romania.
