Chisinau Physical Development Plan | Territorial development strategy

The Chisinau Territorial Development Strategy presents new approaches in land management. The future action of the administration requires not only the protection of the natural and built heritage, but the consensus of the investment priorities, as well, with focus on the adding value of the new projects at the multi-secoral development of the city.

The objectives of the strategy encompasses the area defined by three key features:

Policentric urban system and new urban-rural realtionship, to facilitate the regional development
Equal access of citizens to the urban infrastructure and knowledge, in order to achieve social cohesion
Public management of the natural and built heritage to protect and to promote the specific values within the European cultural landscape.
